Renato is a Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist with a rich background in academia, clinical practice, and research. A 1st generation Filipino-American and holding a Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics from Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center, Renato is dedicated to advancing rehabilitation methodologies through innovative technologies. Currently serving as an instructor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Renato brings a wealth of expertise in orthotics and prosthetics. His active engagement in professional societies, including leadership roles in the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists and the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics, underscores Renato's commitment to helping to shape the future of the field.

In his free time, Renato likes traveling, cooking, and trying to stay active by going to the gym and playing any sport. Like many Filipinos, he loves Karaoke!
